THE HAPPY KITCHEN

 CCC and Happy Kitchen staff members provide a hands-on, interactive classes that teaches parents how to identify fruits and vegetables in the five color groups (red, yellow, blue, green, and white) and the benefits of these foods.
 

  • Identify fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Incorporate five fruits and vegetables a day into their diets
  • Gain an understanding of the nutritional benefits of these foods

      We expect that the program will help the parents increase their ability to obtain, select, and prepare healthier foods, and that changes in attitudes, values and behaviors will be attained that will result in healthier, longer lives.
