The CCC thanks the members of the greater Boynton Beach Community
who have come together to make CCC's programs possible. The CCC list
its services, phone numbers, location, and hours of operation with Crisis
Line's "Where To Turn." Those in need of assistance can either access
Crisis Line by dialing 2-1-1 or Go Online
   
  Faith in Action



Ms. Della Reese is the national spokesperson for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundations Faith in Action Program managed from Wake Forest University. CCC has the prestigious designation of being a Faith in Action program for frail and elderly, the most vulnerable population.


 



Faith in Action is a volunteer caregiving program through which
caring volunteers are recruited, trained, and supported to help their frail
and elderly neighbors. Assistance is provided in many ways: shopping,
picking up medication, respite care, financial assessments and management, transportation to a medical appointment, and minor home repairs. The simple
gift of friendship can restore joy and hope to a person who is isolated from
friends and has little or no family support.

CCC is a member of a recently-formed state coalition called FIAFLNET.
The coalition recently received a $75,000 grant to provide continued
technical assistance to coalition members.
